Other Documents |
Other Documents | Dallas, Reports 4 (4 U.S. [4 Dall.]), p.xxiii–xxv (1807), contains a report on the hearing of Dering v Packer before the Council. The note in Dallas indicates that “this report is taken from a collection of manuscript cases, upon authority, that appeared respectable when it was copied: but the name of the reporter is forgotten.” Smith (p.502) suggests that the notes were probably those of Jared Ingersoll. |
