Biography/Description

Born at Padua, c. 1425, Johannes became doctor utriusque iuris there around 1451. He taught predominantly canon law at Padua from at least 1448 until 1483. Curiously, he left various writings on civil law, but it is difficult to ascertain his teaching of the Corpus iuris civilis. Johannes died in his hometown in 1494.
