Biography/Description |
Fragment of a decretal collection of the ‘Bambergensis Group’, very similar in content type to the Fragmentum Cracoviense and chronologically prior to the Collectio Lipsiensis. Preserved on two flyleaves preceding a copy of the Compilatio prima. According to Vetulani, this fragment and the Kraków fragment suggest a stage in the development of the ‘Bambergensis Group’ of decretal collections to which the compiler of the Lipsiensis added pre-Gratian and conciliar material. |
