Biography/Description |
|
Native of Modena; studied under Azo. A jurist whose work focused mostly on procedure; he taught in minor universities (that is, not Bologna), such as Modena, Vercelli (to which he was invited by Frederick II), and Padua. In Vercelli at least from 1238 to 1240, during which time he probably wrote his treatise De praeludiis causarum. |
