Bolognese decretist and civilian (?). A Bandinus is also cited by the anonymous author of the Fragmentum Cantabrigiense (before 1159). Tancred mentions Bandinus in his Commentary on 1 Comp. 1.35.7 (X 3.22.3), Admont, Stftsbibl. 22, fol. 39r. Bandinus Familiatus swore an oath to the city of Bologna on 31 December, 1198. From Tancred’s gloss one might assume that he also wrote on Roman law. He died in 1218. |
