Biography/Description |
Born in Bologna, Johannes became a doctor of both laws there in 1433 and began lecturing on the decretals (1433–45). From 1446, he was vicar of the Bishop of Bologna, who, made Pope Nicolaus V in 1447, appointed Johannes to the episcopal office. Johannes nevertheless followed his predecessor to Rome and died there the same year. |
