Biography/Description

A relative of Cardinal Albornoz, Fernandus was one of the founding members of the Colegio de España at Bologna. He lectured there on the Decretum from 1363–69, and left comments in his own hand. He later became archbishop of Lisbon (1369) and Sevilla (1371).
