A Cistercian Doctor decretorum, Ambrosius presided over a commission which Bishop Wernhard of Passau had assembled to ascertain the veracity of the so-called miracle of Korneuburg (1305). Ambrosius responded by writing a treatise on the procedural aspects of such an investigation. |
