Biography/Description

A canonist and glossator of the Decretum and the Compilationes antiquae, whose presence in Bologna is attested from c.1205–1222. In 1226, he appears as professor at the University of Padua. William also commented on the Super specula of Pope Honorius III (1219) and the Arbor consanguinitatis.
