Biography/Description

Assembles, in a way similar to Collectio Estensis and Bertiniana, the pre-Innocentian decretals which Petrus Beneventanus had not included in his Compilatio III of 1210. Drawing mainly from the collections of Gilbertus and Alanus, it thus intended to serve the same purpose as the ultimately more successful Compilatio II of Johannes Galensis (1211).
