Biography/Description

A man with this name appears on a guest list of the Apostolic Chamber in 1468/69. A. Esch, Wege nach Rom: Ann√§herungen aus zehn Jahrhunderten (M√ľnchen 2003) 42. Although Esch identifies him as German, the toponym suggests Alford, Lincs., in England. The identification of this Johannes, however, with the author of additiones to the Clementines is speculative.
