Biography/Description

U. taught for many years in Parma, Reggio, and Modena. His best-known work, Liber cautele e doctrine, has recently been the subject of a monograph: N. Sarti and S. Bordini, L’avvocato medievale tra mestiere et scienza giuridica. Il ‘Liber cautele e doctrine’ di Uberto da Bobbio (... 1211–1245) (Bologna 2011).
