This page contains: (1) My current curriculum vitae (last updated 6/25/2025). (2) My current Bibliography (last updated 6/25/2025). For some, but by no means all, of the items, a PDF copy is available. If it is, you may download it for private, non-commercial use; you may distribute it to your students for a fee no more than copying costs; you may not put it on the web (links are fine). If the item has been published, you may cite or quote it within the limits of “fair use.” If it has not been published, you may not cite or quote it without my express permission. (3) Class materials (syllabi, readings, outlines, and, in one case, recorded lectures), from seminars, other than the ones ones on English and Continental Legal History, and reading groups that I have given over the years. Right now only the most recent seminar and the most recent reading group is here, but adding some of the older ones is planned.
(4) The databases, in the form of Excel spreadsheets, that I used in Law, Marriage and Society. If you want to use them (or just check my addition), you will need to download them to your own Excel program; they are not useable on the web. Behind these numbers there are antiquated Access databases. If you want to create functional databases with them, it would be better to use mySQL. Within reason, I am willing to answer queries (email). |
