Biography/Description

F. came from Parma. He was quite well-known in his time, and it is odd that nothing is known of his death. Most of his career was spent in the service of Sforza dukes of Milano, and he seems to have played in important role in reorganizing the administration, particularly the legal administration, of the duchy. He wrote several works on public law, some of which were printed, and some of which survive only in manuscript. Among the former is his De privilegio fisci (TUI 1584, t. 12).
