Report No. t135

Phanuccius Phanuccii

fl. mid-16th c.

Alternative Names

Phanuccius Phanuccii Lucensis; Phanucius de Phanuciis; Fanuccio Fanucci

Biography/Description

CERL Thesaurus suggests a number of ways to put P.’s name into the vernacular, all of which replace the Latin ‘Ph’ with ‘F’, and confirms that he came from Lucca. No dates beyond the 16th century are given. Another CERL record gives Fanucci, Fanuccio. Under that name Italian Edit16 reports him as: Giureconsulto di Lucca, fiorì alla metà del XVI secolo.
