Biography/Description

Pietro was the son of Matteo the son of Pietro degli Ubaldi sr., who was the brother of the better-known Baldo and Angelo. It has recently been established that Pietro jr. taught both civil and canon law at Perugia from 1443 to 1492. His will is dated in 1499. His principal work is the Tractatus de duobus fratribus, which is sometimes mistakenly attributed to his grandfather.
