Biography/Description

Antonius studied law at Bologna and was a member of the Collegium Hispanicum from 1484 to 1490 and obtained his doctorate in canon law there in 1491. In the same year he began teaching also at Bologna, where he remained until 1513, except for a pause from 1506–09 when he was called to teach in Padua. Thereafter, he moved to Rome to work as an advocate.
